Proceeding on a Claimant Basis: Costs
Unlike some other claims management companies, we do not charge an upfront fee when you instruct us to use a Claimant (Claim) Strategy.
Settlement Fee
When proceeding using a Claimant (Claim) Strategy the only payment to Grass Roots comes at the end of the claims process and when you have a 'win'
The Settlement Fee will equal 30% + VAT of the settlement/compensation less the cost of the Service Fee already paid. Where possible, this payment will be deducted directly from your compensation and you will receive a cheque for the remainder of the award.
In other circumstances where a settlement is accepted by you that does not result in a direct payment to you (for example the lender offers to clear or reduce the amount outstanding on a loan and you accept) then a monthly Claims Management Fee is due.
The monthly Claims Management Fee is equal to either 30% + VAT of the settlement figure, less the Service Fee. As the name suggests, the monthly Claims Management Fee can be paid in installments on a monthly basis (although you may pay in full if you wish). We do not add interest or charges for this facility.
The Settlement Fee / Claims Management Fee is subject to a minium of £600.
