Claim for Compensation

Compensation and/or a refund may be due where a lender has mis-sold you a product or you have been disadvantaged, financially or otherwise, due to a lender's improper actions.

If you have been financially disadvantaged by a lender then you should be entitled to restitution. Time and time again some of the largest global lending institutions have been shown to have acted improperly in the pursuit of profit.

For example, the sale, or more specifically, mis-sale of Payment Protection Insurance (PPI) has dominated the financial press in recent years with huge fines being levied by the FSA against some of the largest financial institutions in the UK.

Sample Fines Made for PPI Mis-Selling
Loans.co.uk £455,000 26 October 2006
GE Capital Bank £610,000 30 January 2007
Capital One £175,000 15 February 2007
HFC Bank £1,085,000 16 January 2008
Liverpool Victoria Banking Services £840,000 30 July 2008
Alliance & Leicester £7,000,000 7 October 2008
Egg Banking £721,000 10 December 2008

Financial mis-selling is not confined to the mis-selling of PPI.  In 2010 alone, the FSA has implemented fines totalling a staggering £56,396,697 for mismanagement, market manipulation and mis-selling amongst others. Options for Compensation Claims

Grass Roots flexibility of service means that you have two service options available to you if considering pursuing a claim for compensation.

If you have a mortgage or secured loan then it is possible that certain aspects of the 'sale' may now be seen as 'mis-selling'. Many of our clients have submitted such claims using a Claimant (Claim) Strategy. Why not find out if you could be joining them as someone who has been mis-sold and deserves compensating?

Grass Roots also appreciate that, for some clients, a rebate for mis-sold Payment Protection Insurance may be their only desire. For these clients we have the option of a 'stand alone' PPI (Claim) Strategy.
